Vaccines are the very beginning to providing the necessary preventive care for your pet.  Following recommended puppy and kitten vaccine guidelines assures that your pet is healthy, protected and ready to take on the world. ​

​Puppy Vaccines

  • 8 weeks:
    • ​DHPP #1 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
    • Dewormer
  • 12 weeks:
    • ​DHLPP #1 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
    • BORDETELLA (Kennel Cough Vaccine)
    • 1-Year Rabies (Required by Law)
    • Dewormer
  • 16 weeks:
    • ​DHLPP #2 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
    • Dewormer
  • 6 months:
    • ​Spay/ Neuter (Recommended to prevent unwanted pregnancy and to minimize the risk of mammary or testicular cancer.  This is an excellent time to have your pet microchipped.)
​ ​
DHPP, DHLPP and Bordetella are recommended once per year with an annual exam and the Rabies Vaccine is conveniently administered every three years following the first booster. ​

Kitten Vaccines

  • 8 weeks:
    • FVRCP #1 (Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia Vaccine)
    • Dewormer
  • 12 weeks:
    • ​FVRCP #2 (Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia Vaccine)
    •  FELV TEST (Feline Leukemia Test - If test is negative, we then can vaccinate)
    • FELV #1 (Feline Leukemia Vaccine)
    • 1-Year Rabies (Required by Law)
    • Dewormer
  • 16 weeks:
    • ​FELV #2 (Feline Leukemia Vaccine)
    • ​FVRCP #3
    • Dewormer
  • 6 months:
    • ​Spay/ Neuter (Recommended to prevent unwanted pregnancy and to minimize the risk of mammary or testicular cancer.  This is an excellent time to have your pet microchipped, along with other preventative care).
